Seeking disqualification of two BJP MLAs, A  complaint filed before the Speaker :  Cong 

Ahead of state Assembly Election and during President election political temperature is on hype as Congress party filed a complaint before the Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Assembly Mr Vipin Singh Parmar Singh  disqualification of two BJP MLAs who recently jointed the membership of party despite being elected as Independent candidates in 2017 Vidhan Sabha election. Leader of Opposition Mr Mukesh Agnihotri today submitted complaints to Speaker seeking disqualification of member of Assembly Mr Prakash Rana from Jogindernagar and Mr Hoshiyar Singh from Dehra

Latter speaking to media person at Congress Office Mr Agnihotri said that he had filed the complaints as per the constitutional requirement to seek disqualification as the two MLAs who were elected by the people of their assemblies as Independent candidates found in breach of trust as they joined BJP recently in public function and press released was also issued by the ruling Party. ”Since it is very clear in the Anti-Defection Act that no Independent MLAs could join  any other political parties as it amount to breach of trust of public mandate ” Mr Agnihotri said who is Congress legislative party leader in state assembly. He said that he asked the speaker to disqullifed both the MLAs as they were indulged under breach of trust after getting BJP membership which no one could deny. He said that Congress party seek immediate action against both the MLAs as they  are member of BJP legislative party in the house. Mr Agniohtri said that BJP and two MLAs could not be allowed by the Congress to violate the anti defection law as both lawmakers expected to resign from the membership of Assembly before they joined any political party under the Anti Defection law and speaker is expected to take action on the Congress complaint. He  said that he urged the speaker to take action on Congress complaints as this law is clearly against the members who could not represent them as BJP MLAs. Mr Mukesh Agnihotri also said  that Monsoon Session of the state Assembly would be expected to be held in August or September but the party wants early decision from the speaker on the issue so that it could take next action on the matter. Mr Agnihotri  alleged that Independent members could not breach public trust and mandate if they want to do so they have to reelect them before joining any party again. Political commentators say that BJP have tried to lure the Independent in their folds before  the Presidential Election. It is worthwhile to mention that one of MLA of BJP Mr Anil Sharma is facing asylum as he did not allowed to attend the party legislative meeting and in   its agenda after his son fought election against BJP official Lok Sabha candidates in 2019 from Mandi Parliamentary.
