Youth urged to focus on time management
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal emphasized the importance of effective time management for youth preparing for competitive exams. He advised creating and strictly following a study timetable. This message was delivered during a guidance and counselling session held under the Strength Program at Degree College Una on Wednesday.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the significance of a proper diet and adequate rest in exam preparation, urging the youth to focus on their fitness. He encouraged them to stay focused and reminded them that success and failure are part of life. Instead of fearing failure, they should learn from it and work on their shortcomings. Hard work in the right direction is key to success.
During the session, the Deputy Commissioner shared his life experiences and discussed strategies for competitive exam preparation. He also provided information about the district administration’s Strength Program, which aims to support the welfare and upliftment of youth and women. This program helps increase competitive interest and preparation for exams. It also includes provisions to cover higher education expenses for poor families, offering up to 2 lakhs in assistance. In the first phase, the administration has supported the higher education of 25 eligible girls in the district, with plans to expand in the second phase.
The Deputy Commissioner also addressed various career and preparation-related questions from the youth. Principal Dr. Meeta Sharma, CPO Sanjay Sankhyan, college professors, and a large number of students were present on this occasion.
