Youth Cong stages Dharna over Fodder scam

State Congress Youth unit staged a Dharna here today against fodder scam of Jai Ram Thakur Government alleging that scams and massive evasion of taxes was highhted by CAG report recently presented in the state assembly.
Protests were held before Deputy Commissioner Office Shimla and other parts of state to condemned  Rs 1.23 Cr scam in Himachal Pradesh University, Rs 1.62 Cr Uniform testing scam.
They said that government failed to recoverd Rs 437 Cr taxes and levies  in violation of financial rule under the present government.
Protest was lodged under the leadership of Vice President of District Youth Congress, Shimla Urban, Sandeep Chauhan and Vice President of Shimla Rural Assembly constituency, Dharmendra Verma.
Both the leaders address the Protest meeting and lashed out BJP rule’s indulgence in the fodder scam highlighted by recent CAG report .
They alleged that on the line of Bihar Jai Ram Thakur Government’s Animal Husbandry Department recorded Rs 99.71 lakhfodder and others crores of scams including  misappropriation in the Himachal Pradesh University and  other departments. 

Protesters hold demonstration which started at  Congress office Rajiv Bhawan and ended at  Collectorate office here .
A memorandum was submitted to the Himachal Pradesh Governor through the deputy commissioner Shimla .
