Yashwant Chhajta, newly appointed Vice Chairman of HIMUDA, took charge 

New Pradesh Congress General Secretary Yashwant Chhajta, newly appointed Vice Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority, HIMUDA, took charge of his new office today. During this, the staff officers and employees including the Chief Executive of HIMUDA welcomed him with warm enthusiasm upon reaching the office.

Political Secretary to State Congress President, General Secretary Amit Pal Singh, State Cooperative Bank Director Harikrishna Himral, Yashpal Tanaik, Anita Verma, Congress Secretary Sushant Kaprate, Inderjit Singh, Satyajit Negi, Sonia Chauhan, Rupesh Kanwal, Chandra Shekhar, Ravi Chauhan, Rajesh Verma. Suresh Nagata, SK Sehgal, Ripana Kalsaik, Usha Mehta Rathore, Vineeta Verma, Lata Verma, Nitin, Ashwini Bramta, Neeraj Bakshi, Virendra Banstu, Shubham Verma, Rajat Rana, Mahendra Rajata, Bhupendra Kaushal, Mohan Jharta, Mohan Negi, Senram Negi, Councilor Umang Banga, Ankush Verma and many other party officials were present.

Later, in an informal conversation with the media, Chhajta expressed gratitude to the Central High Command, State Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and all the ministers of the state government, State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh for this new responsibility. Said that he will perform his duties with full devotion and honesty.

Chhajta said that his priority will be the successful implementation of the policies and urban housing schemes of the state government. He said that special work will be done to ensure that maximum number of people get benefit from the schemes of HIMUDA.
