Women of Garpenya Panchayat started a cleanliness campaign on Gandhi Jayanti

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the women of Mahila Mandal Garpenya of Satog Panchayat started a unique initiative by starting a cleanliness campaign in the village. Head of Mahila Mandal, Reena Sharma said that apart from cutting the bushes grown during the rainy season on the way, the women also cleaned the water sources of the village. Apart from this, plastic and other garbage spread in the village was collected and burnt. He said that Mahila Mandal actively participates in all social activities. He said that the cleanliness campaign started by Mahila Mandal will continue and the village will be cleaned from time to time. In Mahila Mandal, Secretary Leela Vati, Preeti, Bika, Suman, Ramkali, Satya, Buddho Devi, and Deepika participated in the cleanliness campaign.
