Will try to fulfill demands of supervisors appointed in Women and Child Development Department: Rajiv Rana

A program was organized at the rest house in Hamirpur by the state unit of the supervisor union appointed in the Women and Child Development Department regarding its demands. Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress State Chairman and Secretary Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Rajeev Rana participated in the program as the chief guest.

State President of the Sangh Ajay Choudhary and State Secretary Ravi Thakur placed their demands before chief guest Rajiv Rana.

Rajiv Rana said in his address that the government of happiness of the state is with the employees class,

Due to the efficient leadership and sensitive thinking of the famous Chief Minister of the state, Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji, the employees were able to get the Old Pension Scheme, and the first guarantee by the Congress government was also fulfilled.

Rajeev Rana said that employees have an important contribution in the development of the state.

The supervisors appointed in the Women and Child Development Department play this role with full dedication.

The people of the organization have been struggling for the last 18 years, their main demand is that departmental examination should be mandatory for the promotion of Supervisor, Statistics Assistant, and Tehsil Welfare Officer.

As per Punjab pattern, the promotion quota of supervisors should be 25% to 35%.

All the demands regarding creating the post without any financial benefit and being considered eligible for child development projects after five years like other categories, etc., have been put before the Honorable Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu Ji and fulfilled. Rajiv Rana said that considering the seriousness of this issue, he also requested the Political Advisor to Chief Minister Sunil Sharma Bittu, and Sunil Sharma Bittu assured to resolve these demands after considering them positively.

Rajeev Rana, while giving New Year wishes through the platform, said that in the coming New Year, the state government will bring more new schemes for the workers and hardworking employees of the unorganized sector.

From the stage, Rajiv Rana thanked the state government for its old pension scheme, Sukh Ashray Yojana, Rs 4500 crore budget without central help in times of disaster, start-up scheme worth Rs 680 crore, Van Mitra Yojana, e-taxi scheme etc.
