Addressing the public during the Jan Sampark Abhiyan program, Bharatiya Janata Party Kangra Chamba Lok Sabha candidate Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj said that the visit of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to Himachal Pradesh has generated a different enthusiasm among the people of the state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment to Himachal Pradesh and the Modi government has taken many important steps for the development of the state. Starting the 9-kilometer-long Atal Tunnel, Parvatmala Project and Gram Sadak Project, increasing the railway budget by 1600 percent, constructing helipad and new airport in Baddi-Sanjauli under Udan Yojana, setting up IIM in Sirmaur etc., many commendable works have been done for Himachal Pradesh.
Bhardwaj said that the Congress party had kept the Ram Mandir issue hanging for 70 years, but in the second term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the decision of this case came, Bhoomi Pujan was done and in January, Shri Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha was also done. He said that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi did not go to the Ram Mandir’s Pran-Pratishtha program in Ayodhya due to fear of their vote bank. He praised the decision to remove Article 370 through the tireless efforts of Prime Minister Modi and accused the Congress leaders of scaring him with Pakistan’s nuclear bomb. He clarified that the BJP is not afraid of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir was, is and will always be a part of India. He said that when Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh’s government was in power, terrorists like “Alia-Malia-Jamalia” from Pakistan used to enter India and attack. In contrast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government responded to the Uri and Pulwama attacks through surgical and air strikes within just 10 days, which wiped out the terrorists in Pakistan. Earlier there used to be firing in Kashmir, now there is firing in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Earlier slogans of independence were raised in our Kashmir, now Pakistan occupied Kashmir says – We want to go to India, this is the miracle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that under the *“One Rank, One Pension”* scheme, the soldiers of the country were demanding “One Rank, One Pension” since the time of Indira Gandhi, but the Congress never fulfilled it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand crore to the bank accounts of army personnel in his first term itself. This scheme is not limited to just getting money, but it is a matter of respect for the soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi did many important development works including sending Chandrayaan to the South Pole of the Moon, promoting youth through startups, bringing light to the homes of 60 crore poor people, ending terrorism and Naxalism from the country. He said that when the country was facing the Corona epidemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi saved everyone from the Corona epidemic by giving free vaccination. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi did cheap politics by misleading the public about the indigenous vaccine, but later they also got vaccinated.
Rajiv said that as soon as the results are out on June 4, NDA will win more than 400 seats and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister once again. Targeting the Congress party, he said that after the results, Rahul Gandhi will blame EVMs for the defeat and the resignation of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will be taken. Rajiv Bhardwaj said that the Congress party had made many promises during the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, but they have not been fulfilled till date. Congress had promised to give 1500 rupees per month to the women of Himachal, to provide 5 lakh jobs in 5 years, to provide 300 units of free electricity, etc., but none of them were fulfilled. The Congress government only did corruption and also embezzled the 3200 crore rupees sent by the central government.
