When will the Solan Peeran bus service, which has been closed for one and a half years, start again: Dayaram Verma

Due to the closure of the Solan-Peeran Thund bus service for the last one and a half years, the people of two Panchayats Peeran and Satlai of Mashobra block are facing problems. Due to this people are angry with the government. Former Pradhan Dayaram Verma said that during his tenure as Pradhan, the Solan Nariga bus service started in 1995. After the construction of the road, this bus was extended to Gania Peeran and thereafter to Thund of Satlai Panchayat.
Dayaram Verma said that the bus service which was running from Solan to Peeran Thund for the last 28 years has been stopped by HRTC Solan for the last one and a half years, due to which the people of the entire area are facing a lot of inconvenience in going to Solan. Apart from getting an education in Solan, around 50 children of the entire area are working in private companies, which are facing a lot of difficulty in reaching Solan and coming back home. The people of Peeran Panchayat have to pay Rs. 600 to a private vehicle for going to and coming back to Jaghed in Sirmaur district on the border, which is difficult for every family to pay.
The head of the village organization alleges that earlier a delegation of women from Peeran Panchayat had met the MLA and Rural Development Minister of the area but till date, no attention has been paid to this important demand. Let us tell you that on 7 January 1995, former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the bridge on the Giri river in Nariga, and bus service was started from Solan to Peeran. Dayaram Verma and Bimla Verma said that soon the women of Peeran will meet Transport Minister Mukesh Agnihotri regarding this important issue. If even then the bus service is not restored, then people will not hesitate to approach the court. People have appealed to the CM to restore this bus service soon.
RM HRTC Solan says that this loss-making route has been closed.
