We don’t have money, we have people, honesty, morality, and moral strength : Sukhu
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, while starting the election campaign from Kutlahar in Una, made a direct attack on six Congress rebels. Addressing a public meeting at Samur Kalan, the Chief Minister said that sellouts and eaters will not do. Jairam Thakur with 25 MLAs is talking about forming a government, he should save his MLAs from being sold. They can be sold in any market, preserve them. The Congress government with an absolute majority will last for 5 years.
We do not have the power of money, we have the power of honesty, morality and the courage of the people. We have proof that six Congress rebels and three independents have been sold for Rs 15 crore each. Its layers have started to be revealed in the police investigation. Who paid the hotel bills, with whose money the helicopters were taken, all this is now coming to light. All of them will go behind the bars.
Thakur Sukhwinder Singh, while communicating directly with the public, said that these brokers are not wanted in politics. Teach them a lesson by hurting them with votes and get their security deposits confiscated. Former Kutlahar MLA Devendra Bhutto used to come to him only to call the Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer for the tender of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, he never raised the problems of the public. He used to give the work related to the public to the PA, he sometimes asked me to do the work for the people, I myself kept doing the work for the public after reading the papers given by him. Now the fight is between truth and lies. Lies will collide with truth again and again, Bhutto will come again and again and tell lies. He has to be taught a lesson. The Chief Minister said, I have sounded the election trumpet from Kutlahar, I will reach every Panchayat and every person and convey my voice. Will win all six seats of by-elections along with Hamirpur-Una and will also win all four Lok Sabha seats. The government has fulfilled 5 out of 10 guarantees during its tenure of 1.25 years. We have given OPS, the government has started schemes like Sukhashraya Yojana for destitute children, Startup Yojana for youth, Day Boarding School, MSP on milk etc. The Chief Minister said that I am the son of a poor family and a farmer, I have reached the post of Chief Minister through struggle and I understand the pain of the common man.
During this, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Sudarshan Bablu, former minister Kuldeep Kumar, former MLA Satpal Raizada, Surendra Mankotiya, Congress candidate from Jaswan Paragpur, Vivek Sharma, Congress candidate from Kutlahar, Colonel Dharmendra Patial, Una District Congress President Ranjit Rana, former District President. Virendra Dharmani, Deshraj Gautam, Kutlahar Block Congress President Ram Asra Sharma etc. were present.
BJP should teach a lesson to those who sell legislature for money
The Chief Minister said that he urges BJP leaders and workers to teach a lesson to those who sell legislature by taking money. He did corruption by becoming an MLA from Congress, now he will do corruption by joining BJP also. Such people will never serve you, they will only loot and plunder. When Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur could not get power on the basis of votes, he tried to grab the chair on the basis of currency notes.
Vivek’s name tops in Kutlehad
Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that Vivek Sharma has done a lot of work in Kutlahar. His name is at the top for the ticket in the by-election. This time the fight is not about tickets, it is between untruth and truth. Support Vivek in Kutlehad. Hurt rebel Bhutto so much through votes that he learns a lesson. He said that the Congress MP will be from Una, Satpal Raizada is combative and hardworking. Support him if he gets Lok Sabha ticket.
We closed the doors of corruption, that’s why the rebels suffered.
The Chief Minister said that we closed the doors of corruption during our 14-month tenure, that is why the rebels suffered. Voting for the Rajya Sabha elections took place a day before the second budget of the Congress government was to be presented. In that, six rebel Congress MLAs did cross voting. After that, stayed for some time in a hotel in Kandaghat and then stayed in hotels in Panchkula and Chandigarh. The budget was to be passed on 28th February and he came with CRPF in two helicopters. Even a gate of the assembly was broken. Attended the assembly and remained absent during voting on the budget. After this, he again went to Lalit Hotel in Chandigarh and then stayed in hotels in Uttarakhand and Gurugram. He was with us the night before the Rajya Sabha elections, had dinner together. Bhutto kept coming to me again and again and telling me about the taste of the food prepared in the dinner and it was sold the next day. The rebel MLAs did not even think that the budget against which they wanted to topple the government contained schemes of public interest. The Chief Minister said that the state government has decided to give Rs 1500 per month to women. These will last forever, no one can stop them. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur may use as much force as he wants to stop the women’s money, they will remain together.
