Water release from Karchham Dam 

Water discharge from Karchham Dam alert sounded to People living along bank of Sutlej river, state diaster Management authority spokesperson said. All the general public are warned that due to the high flow of river Sutlej could cause flood in the downstream. About 100 cumecs of water would be released from Karchham Dam  today at around 5.30 pm.  People are requested not to go on the banks of the river.  In another incident of sudden increase in water level of river at Kunjhal near, Indian Industries Barotiwala, Baddi due to which one Alto Car (HP11A-8916) washed away. In the car three person are sitting all were rescued safely with the help of local People.
