Volunteers gave cleanliness message on NSS Foundation Day in Dadgi

The NSS Foundation Day was celebrated in the form of cleanliness service in Government Senior Secondary School, Dadgi. Principal Rajendra Kumar Verma participated in the program as the chief guest. On this occasion, the volunteers took out a rally from the school campus to the local market and gave the message of cleanliness and collected the polythene and garbage scattered on the roads in sacks and buried them at the designated place. Along with this, the volunteers cleaned the entire campus along with weeding the flowers, vegetables and medicinal plants blooming in the flower garden and kitchen garden.
On this occasion, volunteers also presented cultural programs. The program started with the NSS song, which was sung by all the students in unison. Sneha and her friends mesmerized the students sitting in the audience gallery by singing the song Hum Honge Kamyaab. Similarly, 12th class students Diksha Verma, Neelam, Praveen, Pankaj, Bhavana, Priya, Ritika and Kritika expressed their views on drug eradication and cleanliness fortnight. Program in-charge Dharam Prakash Verma said that students should discharge their responsibilities in the society by joining the National Service Scheme. On this occasion, senior spokesperson Khub Ram Verma, Vijay Pant, Sanjeev Kumar, Pyaar Singh, Praveen Kumar along with all the teachers and non-teaching staff were present.
