Vikramaditya Singh may skip CoM Meeting
Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh may skip a historical and very first council of ministers meeting convened by Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu tomorrow. It is worthwhile to mention that Vikramaditya Singh elevated as cabinet minister in nine members council of ministers on January 9 2023 and allotted key portfolio of Public Works Department, Youth and Sports subsequently. Mr Sukhu announced to hold CoM historical meeting on Friday tomorrow to take decisions to restore Old Pension Scheme to 1.30 lakh NPS Employees in the state. The CoMs meeting was being watched keenly not by state People but Employees of other states as announcement of OPS figured in Congress party manifesto along with ten guarantee which includes provision of NPS to as many as 23000 Employees who got retirement between 2005 to 2023 more provision of monthly assistance of Rs 1500 to all unemployed women between age group of 18 to 60 and free power upto 300 units to all house holds. In a message issued on Social media post by Vikramaditya Singh stated that he would not be able to attend Cabinet meeting slated for January 13 at Shimla. Mr Singh have shown inability to attend the CoM Meeting and also apprised Chief minister about the same today.
