Vehicular traffic disrupt on Hindustan Tibet National Highway

The inceasent rainfall disrupted vehiclcular traffic in the state state as landslides trigger at number of places in Hindustan Tibet National Highway no -5 and two massive tree clogged the Shimla town on Sunday.
Himachal Pradesh Emergency Operation Centre incharge Mr Sudesh Mokta said that a massive Deodar tree and landslide occurred at Tolland near Khalini Shimla at 0650hrs this morning which blocked vehicular traffic in the town.
One truck and three parked cars are damaged due to the uprooting of trees. District Administration has deployed forest team a nd National Highway Authority team on the spot to clear the road . 
Road blocked near Cecil old parking (103). Traffic has been diverted.
Landslide also blocked traffic partly at many places between Shimla and Kalka.
Shimla got 64 mm rainfall, Naina Devi in Bilaspur 47 mm, Palampur in Kangra-43 mm, Sujanpur Tira in Hamipur 43 mm, Baijnath in Kangra 34 mm, Baldwara in Mandi 32 mm, Berthin in Bilaspur 31 mm, Karsog in Mandi 30 mm Kotkhai in Shimla 27 mm, Nadaun in Hamipur 25 mm, Sundernagar in Mandi 20 mm, Bharari in Bilaspur  & Nalagarh in Solan 19 mm each, Kufri in Shimla Jogindarnagar in Mandi & Manali in Kullu 17 mm each, Mehre in Kangra, Bijahi in Mandi, Kandaghat in Solan and Dharmshala in Kangra 16 mm each.
