Urgent need to create mutual unity among farmers: Pushpendra Tyagi

On the second day of Kisan Sabha’s state-level training camp and seminar, Pushpendra Tyagi, who came from the center of All India Kisan Sabha, discussed the aspects related to social and communal harmony. He said that there is an urgent need to create mutual unity among the farmers to organize them. This situation was explained well to the whole world by the farmers’ movement that lasted for 380 days on the border of Delhi two years ago. When a farmer rises above the thinking of caste, patriarchy, and communal division and fights unitedly, then no one can stop him from winning. Expressing concern, Pushpendra Tyagi said that it is unfortunate that today there is no government in the country that takes care of the farmers, and that is why despite the withdrawal of the three agricultural laws with concrete conditions, no one is taking any action regarding the support price. No initiative was taken. But farmers will definitely achieve this because the farmer’s movement has been postponed, not ended.

In this regard, National Finance Secretary of Kisan Sabha and former MLA P. Krishna Prasad gave important tips to the representatives who were trained to organize farmers. He said that the farmers need to develop the thinking of organization and struggle and prepare them to question the policies instead of blaming their past life’s actions for their plight. Only then will farmers be able to raise voices for their demands. K.P. Appealed to the representatives to form a strong Kisan Sabha by making more and more farmers members in the state.

Along with this, former General Secretary of Kisan Sabha and former MLA Rakesh Singha, on one hand, asked the Kisan Sabha to develop a concrete movement to address the loss caused by the natural disaster in the state, while on the other hand, the Central Government asked the Central Government to declare a national disaster and the state government asked for relief funds. Raised demand to provide it soon.

State President of Himachal Kisan Sabha, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar said that in the executive meeting, it was decided to raise all these issues by appealing to Shimla Chalo on 25th November to make the three-day Mahapadav to be held across the country successful.
