Union Minister Jan Ashirwad Yatra in violation of Covid norms : HPCC

Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore on Thursday questioned the Union minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra and said such events should be avoided amidst the spike Covid cases in the state.
Talking to media, Rathore said the yatra wouldn’t bring any gains for the ruling BJP as the people of the state and country were fed with spike in prices of petroleum products, essential items and gas cylinders.
The union minister was seeking blessings of people of the state as the people were fed with failure of the HP government on various issues as unemployment and law and order.
“Thakur and BJP government in the state will not get support of the people despite these gimmicks and they will be vote out the ruling party from the state in upcoming bypolls and 2022 assembly elections,” he added.
He lashed the ruling BJP government for failing to ensure development in the state and said even the people in chief minister Jai Ram Thakur’s home district were not satisfied with government’s functioning.
The state government in its three and half years rule had failed to construct any new school, college or hospital, he said while questioning the Thakur government as to on which issue they will seek vote from the general public in elections.
