Unfortunate to stop school children’s uniform: Kashyap

BJP State President and MP Suresh Kashyap met Himachal Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, during the meeting he inquired about his well-being and discussed several important issues.

On this occasion, Suresh Kashyap said that BJP’s District Aakrosh rally is going on across the state and on March 13, 2030, BJP will organize an Aakrosh rally in district Shimla, after which BJP Legislature Party leader Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla Signatures from all over the state will be collected and handed over.

These signatures are being sent to the party through Mandal President and 2022 candidates from Mandal level.

Workers of district Shimla will be present in the Aakrosh rally on March 13.

He said that the way the Himachal Pradesh government has stopped the free uniforms of students in government schools, it is unfortunate. Under the leadership of Jairam Thakur, the BJP government had provided free uniforms to the students of class 1st to 12th, and along with that Rs. Has stopped this uniform as soon as he arrived.

BJP government used to provide uniforms free of cost to 8 lakh children in schools and this Congress government will provide uniforms to only 3.70 lakh children for only Rs.600. This Rs 600 is also being given to Himachal under the Central scheme, which means Himachal’s contribution is zero.

Kashyap said that the Himachal Pradesh Loktantra Prahari Samman Yojana has also been stopped by this government, which is a very unfortunate thing in itself. This scheme was started for those who had served jail term during Emergency and those who were in jail. Those people have become old today or their widows got this pension, during the Emergency in MISA Act 1971 or Defense of India Rule 1971, many democracy guards of Himachal Pradesh were jailed.

The former Jai Ram Thakur government had made an act regarding this scheme and this act is repealed only in the assembly. Regarding this also, Himachal Pradesh’s democracy watchdog will meet Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on March 14, 2023 along with Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and the leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJP Vice President Sanjeev Katwal, Secretary Pyar Singh Kanwar and co-media in-charge Karan Nanda were present on the occasion.
