Under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the process of making slip with scan started at Kullu hospital

Under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the Regional Hospital in Kullu has initiated the slip-making process using scan and share technology. To access this facility, people need to download the Aura app on their phones and scan the QR code through the app.

Dr. Naresh, the Medical Superintendent of the Regional Hospital, announced that the Aura app, operated under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, was successfully tested and is now live for public use as of September 13, 2024. The OPD slip can now be successfully generated via the Aura app.

According to the Government of India’s instructions, anyone creating an Ayushman Bharat Health Account using the slip scan and share technology through the Aura app will be given priority at the OPD counter. Users need to download the Aura app, scan the QR code, and their demographic details will be sent to the data entry operator at the slip counter. The operator will then generate a token number in the app, which they will communicate to the user along with the specific OPD slip to be made. This entire process takes a maximum of 20-30 seconds.
