Two patients were airlifted to IGMC from Dodra-kwar

Once again demonstrating compassionate leadership, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu orchestrated the airlifting of two patients from the remote region of Dodra-Kwar in Shimla district today to Shimla for treatment as they required urgent medical care. Among the individuals airlifted are six-year-old Shraddha and 54-year-old Pramod Kumar.

The Chief Minister’s helicopter departed from Dodra-Kwar at 8:30 am this morning and arrived at Annadale by 9:10 am, carrying the two patients accompanied by their attendants. Acting upon the directive of the Chief Minister, officials including the ADM (Protocol) and Tehsildar promptly facilitated the patients’ transfer to Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, where they were admitted for treatment.

Reports indicate that both patients are stable, with Pramod Kumar suffering from asthma and swelling.

Expressing profound gratitude, Shraddha’s mother commended Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for his swift response in airlifting her child during this emergency and said that his intervention proved valuable in transporting her daughter to IGMC.

It shows the concern of Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu towards the suffering humanity and his personal intervention in this hour of crisis is appreciable, she said and expressed her thanks towards the invaluable assistance provided by the Chief Minister.
