Two more comrades give life while serving people in rain affected Himachal
With the tragic mishap in the state, two comrades left us making their life fruitful at the last minute serving humanity in hard times.
A press release issued by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Employees Unions general secretary Hira Lal said that board lineman Duglu Ram (57 years) Lineman died in an accident while restoring power supply on August 13, 2023.
He also said that Mohindra Lal (43 years), a Lineman of Bilaspur Electricity Board, worked on the line this morning Martyred in an accident.
Union expresses deep sorrow over these accidents. “The martyrdom of these comrades would always be remembered and the Himachal State Electricity Board Employees Union stands with their families in this hour of grief.
The union urged the staff to take special care while working on the power line in wet weather conditions.
According to CPI(M) leader Bhupinder Singh Prabhas Rana died while trying to rescue a family after their house collapsed in Taniyar village last night. He couldn’t be taken to the hospital due to a rain-affected road on August 13. Comrade Rana was the former Pradhan of Dharampur, Panchayat Samiti, and member and former president of SFI and CITU.
