Two days workshop organised on various activities of Agriculture Department

Secretary Agriculture Rakesh Kanwar presided over two days workshop organised at State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute Mashobra. 

During the workshop Secretary asked the Officers to take effective steps to promote natural farming and agricultural products in the State. He said that stalls should be installed at fairs and other programmes organised for promotion of various activities in the State. He said that two way communication during workshops bring positive results.

He gave various directions to the Officers for effective implementation  of various programmes and schemes of the department. He said that the field Officers should propose their suggestions as per their experiences. He said that the Officers should execute their responsibilities with a positive vision.

Director Agriculture Dr. Narendra Kumar Dhiman said that innovative efforts should be made to reach the various technologies developed by the Agricultural University to the farmers so that the farmers can be benefitted. He said that the officers should review the various schemes of the department from time to time.

Various activities of the department were discussed in detail on this occasion. The participants of the workshop interacted with each other and gave their suggestions.
