Two Avalanche hit NH-3 at Ropsang Nallah & Mooling Bridge

Two Avalanches hit National Highway-03 at Ropsang Nallah and Mooling Bridge in Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, senior officer of State Emergency Operation Centre informed.
SEOC Spokesperson Mr Sudesh Mokta said that two incidents of Avalanches have been reported at Ropsang Nallah and Mooling Bridge district Lahaul & Spiti district this afternoon.
He said Avalanches blocked NH-03 and restoration work is under process. No loss of life reported in this incident.
District administration Lahaul and Spiti has been deputed Border Road Organization-94 RCC for the restoration of the blocked road.
Meanwhile High reaches of Lahaul-Spiti district including Rohtang pass, Kunzumla, Lady of Keylong, Baralacha, Saptarshi and Goshal hills also recorded moderate fresh spell of Snowfall in the last night.

Keylong, district headquarter of Lahaul Spiti recorded two cm Snowfall in last 24 hrs.  Snowfall.Gondla and Hansa three cm each and Kalpa 0.4 cm.
135 roads including three National Highway are snowbound in the state. 114 in Lauhal Spiti district, nine in Mandi, seven in Kullu, four in Shimla and two in Chamba.
Power Supply is affected in 25 places in Chamba, Six in Kinnaur, three in Lahaul Spiti and one in Mandi.
In the wee hours dense fog reduced visibility upto 50 to 200 meter in Mandi, Una, Sundernagar and Nurpur(Kangra)  
Bright sunshine gave respite from icy cold wave as Minimum temperature was one to two degrees higher from yesterday.
Minimum temperature of Keylong was minus 7.2 degrees, Kalpa minus 2.5 degrees, Tourist resort Kufri one degrees, Manali two degrees, Solan four degrees, Mandi 4.6 degrees, Dalhousie and Chamba five degrees each, Shimla 5.5 degrees, Una 5.8 degrees, Kangra and Nahan in Sirmaur 6.7 degrees Dharmshala six degrees, Hamirpur 7.6 degrees and Bilaspur eight degrees respectively.
The Met Office forecast rain and snow in isolated places of mid and high reaches of Himachal Pradesh in next 24 hrs.
