Tourists to continue have relaxation from RT-PCR testings in Himachal : CM

Despite the warning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of violation of Covid norms by the tourists making beelines in the hill states  Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today announced that his government is not in favor of imposing restriction of  RT PCR negative reports on the tourists when the cases of  Covid is coming down in the hill state.
Mr Thakur interacting with the media persons here today said that PM concern was not only for Himachal Pradesh but all hill states where tourists are thronging in large number of long gap of Covid pandemic along with entire family and violating the Covid norms.
The directions have been issued to the state police to regulate the crowded tourist places and taking strong action against those who are following proper Covid behavior or wearing the masks.
” It would not be proper decision to reimpose the RT PCR report condition on the entry of tourists as it would also affect the movement of other  people who are not tourists to commute on the state borders should be provided hassle free entry  ” Mr Thakr said adding that common man have suffered lot during the covid due to this condition.
Mr Thakur said that Covid cases are not declining as fast, however black  fungus and death case have come down as a sigh of relief for the people, however the restrictions could not be eased out at once.
We have got a proposal from the parents of students and a coaching academy to start regular classes as students are  suffering due to the closing down of such institutions apart from online classes however Mr Thakur said that schools and other institutions would continue to be closed.
