Tourism Day celebrated in Degree College Rajgarh
The Youth Tourism Club of Government College, Rajgarh, celebrated World Tourism Day with great enthusiasm on Saturday. On this occasion, the club organized poster-making, photography, and videography competitions, in which students participated enthusiastically.
In the poster making competition, first, second and third positions were secured by Sarika BA 2nd year, Neha Mehta BA 2nd year and Nutan Thakur BA 3rd year respectively.
In the videography competition, Anshul BA 3rd year stood first, Divyansh BA 3rd year stood second, and Sushan BA 3rd year stood third.
In the photography competition, Aditi Thakur BA 1st year, Deepak Chauhan BA 1st year and Neha Mehta BA 2nd year secured first, second and third positions respectively.
On this occasion, Club Incharge Professor Amita Mehta highlighted this year’s theme: Tourism and Sustainable Development. She said that tourism is not just about enjoyment, but also about connecting with culture, nature, and heritage. Therefore, let’s preserve it for future generations by adopting responsible and sustainable tourism.
