Shimla, today former BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap filed nomination from Shimla parliamentary constituency. On this occasion, Kashyap said that a huge public meeting of BJP Shimla parliamentary constituency was held yesterday in which we saw amazing enthusiasm among the workers. He said that it is our good fortune that the country got a world leader like Prime Minister Narendra Modi who made the country famous throughout the world. Kashyap said that Himachal Pradesh is continuously getting huge amount of money from the Center for various schemes but the Congress Party is only trying to create an agenda against the BJP. The amount of various grants received by Himachal Government from the Central Government this year is around Rs 23,413 crore. AIIMS Bilaspur completed in record time, AIIMS was established in 247 acres (99.96 hectares) of land at a cost of Rs 1471 crore, studies have started at IIIT Una. Approval for construction of Central University in Dehra, Hydro Engineering College in Bilaspur, total 6 new Kendriya Vidyalayas.
He said that on March 5, 2024, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 15 NH projects and ropeway projects worth about Rs 4000 crore for Himachal Pradesh. He also made a big announcement of completing or under construction projects worth one lakh crore in Himachal by the end of the year.
He said that in Shimla parliamentary constituency, an amount of Rs. 309 crore was approved for IIM Dhaula Kuan in Sirmaur district, Rs. 370 crore was approved for Medical College Nahan Bhawan, Rs. 6946.99 crore was approved for Renuka Power Dam, Green Corridor N. The sanctioned amount for H. 707 Paonta Sahib- Rajvan Shilai Hatkoti is Rs 1426 crore. He said that Congress party will have to change its spectacles and only then they will see the progress of Himachal.
