To make life meaningful, students should stay away from drugs: Parveer Thakur
On the fourth day of the ongoing National Service Scheme of Government Adarsh Secondary School, Junga, Deputy Commander of First Police Armed Corps, Junga, Parveer Thakur informed the volunteers about cybercrime, the POCSO Act, drugs, and the ill effects of tobacco. He advised children to stay away from all types of drugs. He said that in the present context, cybercrime is increasing a lot due to which society is being greatly affected. Many tactics of cybercrime are being adopted by mischievous elements. Posing as media hackers, they steal data from Facebook, Instagram, etc, and loot people. He urged the children not to receive any kind of unknown calls from their family members and not to share their personal bank etc. data with anyone.
Principal Suman Chandel welcomed the Deputy Commissioner of Police and expressed gratitude for giving informative information related to cybercrime. He called upon the volunteers to adopt the knowledgeable information acquired during the NSS special camp in their lives and adopt the basic mantra of social service and hard work in their lives to make their lives meaningful.
Program officers Ramlal Lodhata and Maina Chauhan said that Daliana village has been adopted by NSS volunteers which was cleaned by the volunteers. They collected plastic waste and destroyed it in the Shiva temple adjacent to Daliana village. Apart from this, bushes were cut on many roads of Junga and the entire area was cleaned and the message of cleanliness was given to the people.
