Three story building grounded in Chopal

A three story building grounded after heavy rainfall and caving in the foundation of building in Chopal of Sihmla  district at 1 pm on Saturday, it was evacuated before the mishap no loss of life is reported. A police official confirmed at police station Chopal that a building which house UCO bank Branch of Chopal, shop and Dhaba started developing cracks since early mourning today. Building housed a UCO bank branch, a dhabha and shop employees were evacuated to safer places this morning as some cracks appeared in the buildings. Around 1.03 pm the building which is three to four story collapsed like the pack of cards into rubles. The bank branch was off on the day of mishap buit the papers and other furniture of the branch, properties in shops and food eatery damaged in the mishap. The mishap occurred after caving in the foundation wall of house. The Met Office issued orange alert in  the state for today as Monsoon is vigorously active.
