Three Health Sub Centres of Block Mashobra have received NQAS certification : Sanjeev Ranaut

Three health sub-centres of Medical Block Mashobra, namely Chanog, Salana and Shakrah, have received the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification for the first time. Four health institutions of this medical block, namely Primary Health Centres Naldehra and Ghanahatti, and Health Sub-Centres Badheri and Bhadech, have also successfully achieved the state-level Quality Assurance Standards certification.
Dr. Sanjeev Ranaut, Block Medical Officer, Mashobra, stated that Mashobra block has received the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification for the first time, a significant achievement in the health sector. He explained that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, annually ranks health institutions based on six parameters, including service delivery, patient safety, infection control, documentation, and community-oriented care. Only after meeting these criteria are they certified by NQAS. The Government of India provides these institutions with separate funding for institutional strengthening. This accreditation follows a year of dedicated efforts by the teams working at these centers.
Dr. Sanjeev Ranaut attributed this achievement to the CMO, Shimla, whose constant guidance and technical support made this possible. Furthermore, this success reflects the collective dedication of the medical officers, health workers, ASHA workers, Block Quality Team, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and the community, who worked tirelessly to upgrade infrastructure, streamline service delivery, and implement quality protocols. The NQAS certification, awarded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is a mark of excellence for these facilities.
