There will be no need to go to the secretariat, I will get the work done at home
The election campaign of Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur is gaining momentum. On Sunday, he held about a dozen street corner meetings and sought people’s support. He said that the former independent MLA of Dehra should explain why he did not come to the assembly constituency for a month. When the public had elected him for five years, why did he leave the assembly after 14 months. He used to come to the Chief Minister only with his files. The Chief Minister himself took interest in the work of the public. The former MLA had other works to do.
Kamlesh Thakur in Haripur, Basa, Maheva, Naushera, Kallar said that the decision to field me in the elections is of the high command. Congress is not afraid of contesting elections and will never be afraid. I am not the only one who is contesting elections from a politician’s family. In most parties including BJP, Congress, someone or the other from the family of Chief Ministers, Ministers and MLAs has been contesting elections.
I am contesting the elections for the development of Dehra. For many years, Dehra has been suffering from lack of development. Due to the former independent MLA, development in Dehra remained stalled for 14 months. Now after becoming the MLA, Dhyan of Dehra will write a new chapter of development in the area. I will not need to go to the secretariat to get work done, I will get the work done from the Chief Minister at home itself.
The former independent MLA did not remember Dehra when he left the MLA post. He kept playing in the hands of BJP and kept trying to wash away his sins in the Ganga by staying in Chandigarh, Delhi, Gurugram, Uttarakhand. Hoshiar Singh should have come among the public when he resigned from the MLA post, he should have asked those who had voted for him once that he was leaving the MLA post and was going to contest the MLA election again.
Kamlesh said that Dehra is not new for me. I was born, brought up and studied here. My maternal home is here, my sister lives here, many classmates are here. BJP should answer the people why it unnecessarily imposed this by-election.
She said that the people of Dehra are wise and will never forgive those who cheat. For development, this is the time to vote for the Chief Minister. Apart from the pending roads and bridges in the area, all the problems related to electricity and water will be solved. I request everyone to accept the decision of 10th July and vote for me. The Congress government is in power for three and a half years and there will be no dearth of development in Dehra. This is also the constituency of the Chief Minister.
