Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the country has approved the development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by rejecting the lies of Indi alliance along with Congress. Narendra Modi’s name is a guarantee of development, a guarantee of campaign on corruption, a guarantee of poverty alleviation. For this victory, he congratulated all the central leadership and countrymen including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, National President JP Nadda. He said that it became clear from the assembly elections in four states of the country that the people of the country are in the mood to fight a decisive battle against corruption. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling every promise made to the country, he said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the country is going to give the opportunity to serve with a bigger majority than last time. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said these things while talking to journalists at CTO on Mall Road, Shimla.
He said that Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had given false guarantees after coming to Himachal and today I am relieved that when BJP government has been formed in Chhattisgarh, his campaign has completely failed. Bhupesh had even said that we have fulfilled all the guarantees in Himachal Pradesh, today the lie has been exposed.
He had given guarantee of cow dung in Himachal Pradesh but got trapped in the cow dung scam there. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh did not spare even two Mahadevs and did the Mahadev Up scam.
The Leader of Opposition said that during the elections, Congress gave guarantees in all the states and also informed that Congress had given ten such guarantees in Himachal, which were fulfilled. Due to which people started questioning Congress leaders on the platforms themselves. The Leader of Opposition said that now the situation has become difficult for the leaders of Himachal Congress. Today the situation of Congress in Himachal is that big leaders are not able to reach out among the people. People are saying that it has been a year now when will you fulfill your claims.
Big corruption cases are going on against the governments of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
