There is huge anger among the public due to false guarantees of Congress: Anurag Thakur
Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs Shri Anurag Singh Thakur today participated in the nomination of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Assembly by-election candidates Shri Sudhir Sharma ji and Shri Chaitanya Sharma ji from Dharamshala and Gagret. Shri Anurag Thakur said that Sudhir Sharma will win from Dharamshala and Chaitanya Sharma from Gagret with record votes because they have left the pleasures of power and chosen the interest of the people of Dharamshala, Gagret and Himachal. This time again the people of Himachal and the entire country have made up their mind to make Modi ji the Prime Minister of the country for the third time and form the BJP government in Himachal too, because there is huge anger among the people due to the false guarantees of Congress. The people of Himachal are feeling cheated by the false allurements and promises of Congress. Bharatiya Janata Party will score a four in the Lok Sabha and a six in the Assembly also.
Shri Anurag Thakur said that “Congress has done a lot of injustice to the people of Himachal. There is a lot of anger among the public due to the false guarantees given by the Congress because the public is feeling cheated by getting trapped in their allurements. The people of Himachal are ready to teach a lesson to the false and corrupt Congress in these elections. In the next 15 days of election campaign, the 15 months of misgovernance of the Congress government will be brought to the attention of the people. They neither gave ₹ 1500 per month to our sisters, nor bought ₹ 100 per liter milk and ₹ 2 per kg cow dung, nor gave jobs to 5 lakh youth, nor gave money for startup fund, nor gave fair prices to fruit farmers. He did not fulfill even one of his guarantees. Congress should tell whether after the elections they are going to cut the reservation of SC-ST and OBC in Himachal and give it to Muslims like Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh? Because after the victory, the Congress leaders here have said that we have formed the government by defeating 97% Hindus.”
Shri Anurag Thakur further attacking Congress said that on one hand Congress leaders say that nuclear weapons should be eliminated from India and on the other hand Congress and its allies say that Pakistan has atom bomb. Respect him. What kind of double character is this? Does Congress consider the people of the country to be fools?”
Shri Anurag Thakur further said, “Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra have been spreading fear and confusion among the people that the Bharatiya Janata Party is anti-SC-ST and OBC and will abolish the Constitution. But the truth is that Congress has defeated Andhra Pradesh, In Telangana and Karnataka, Manmohan Singh has done the work of snatching away five percent reservation from the SC and OBC brothers and sisters. One leader from Congress even said this openly. He who has two wives will get double the money. Not only this, Congress has changed the Constitution 62 times during the tenure of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. They will snatch the property of Hindus and distribute it among their vote bank. But as long as Modi ji and Bharatiya Janata Party are in this country, no one can snatch the rights of our SC, ST and OBC brothers and sisters. The property belongs only to Hindus.”
Shri Anurag Thakur said that in 2014, the people of the country rejected the corrupt Congress and made an honest tea seller the Prime Minister of the country and in the last 10 years, the country has seen development which had not happened even in the last 60 years. In the last 10 years, our foreign exchange reserves have increased from Rs 2.5 lakh crore to Rs 5 lakh crore. Today our exports have doubled. We have become the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world. Be it startups to space or science to sports, our youth are waving their flag everywhere. Today, more than 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs are operational in the country. We made two indigenous Covid vaccines in record time. Today our UPI is going to be global. India did what no other country in the world could do in space. We not only became the first country to go near the South Pole of the Moon but we also named the point where our Chandrayaan landed as Shiv Shakti Point. We are number three in the world in manufacturing automobiles. Our economy is the fastest growing large economy in the world. Today we are the fifth largest economy in the world and will soon become the fourth and then the third. Most of the generic medicines are manufactured in India. We are number two in steel making. We are also number one in milk production. Today India is making rapid progress in the manufacturing of defense products. From big ships to AK-47 and INSAS rifles or bullet proof jackets to Boeing aircraft, we are making or will make all of them in India. Today we are making weapons worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore in our own country. We are giving BrahMos missiles to Philippines, making Tejas ourselves.”
