The state has given a befitting reply to the BJP for its conspiracies : Sanjay Awasthi

State Congress Committee’s working president and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi has said that the Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government will complete its term with full strength in the state. He has said that the results of the six by-elections have made it clear that the public opinion in the state is completely in favor of the Congress.

Sanjay Awasthi has said that the people of the state have given a befitting reply to the BJP for its conspiracies in the six assembly by-elections. He said that the BJP made an unsuccessful attempt to destabilize the Congress government in the state, and along with horse-trading of six Congress MLAs, it has also put the political future of three independent MLAs at stake. He said that now the Congress will wave the flag of its victory in the three by-elections as well.

Sanjay Awasthi has said that BJP’s slogan of crossing 400 has flopped badly at the Centre. The tactics adopted by BJP to win this election are not hidden from anyone. By threatening the opposition leaders, putting them in jail, and getting the accounts of Congress seized, they violated the limits of democracy, but still, it could not cross the 400 mark.

Sanjay Awasthi has taken former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur to task and said that the statements he is making every day calling the Congress government of the state a short-lived government are completely objectionable. He is insulting the public opinion. He said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has the majority figure of the government and in the coming time this figure will increase even more. The BJP has done all the conspiracies it wanted to do and now none of its conspiracies will succeed. He said that the Congress government of the state is completely strong under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
