BJP MLA and senior leader Sudhir Sharma said that the Chief Minister and his friends are only trying to save the government. It is the Chief Minister’s old habit to dream Sheikh Chilli’s sweet dreams, now times are changing and certainly the current Congress government is not doing well.
He said that the Chief Minister himself is indulging in hooliganism, misusing power, wasteful expenditure and is making unsuccessful attempts to put the blame of his failures on others. Dr. Rajesh Sharma, who contested the Dehra assembly elections, said while crying in a meeting with supporters on Wednesday that CM Sukhu kidnapped him for 9 hours in Oak-Over (CM’s official residence in Shimla). Dr. Rajesh Sharma alleged that the CM and other Congress leaders are threatening him that they will shut down his business. Rajesh also said that if anything happens to him and his family, the CM will be responsible for that too. This is the height of CM’s hooliganism. Along with this, the Bilaspur firing incident is also continuously linking the Congress and hooliganism.
Sudhir said that the results of the Lok Sabha elections clearly show that the Chief Minister has lost his popularity. In the Lok Sabha elections-2024, BJP has won a big lead in every assembly constituency in the 17 assembly constituencies in the Kangra parliamentary constituency. BJP has scored a four by winning the Shimla parliamentary seat for the fourth consecutive time. Suresh Kashyap, BJP candidate on this seat and also elected MP from this seat in 2019, has won by defeating Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri by 91,451 votes.
Anurag Thakur of BJP has won the election from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh for the fifth time. BJP won this election by 1,82,357 votes. The big faces of Himachal Congress were not successful in getting the lead for the party. BJP candidates have got the lead in the assembly constituencies of 10 ministers of the state government. Not only this, in the seats where the star campaigners of Congress went for campaigning, the lead has gone to BJP’s account. BJP has also got a lead of 2143 votes in Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s assembly constituency Naidun.
He said that the Chief Minister should not talk about guarantees, there is a big mess in all the guarantees. The Chief Minister and his friends do not talk directly about any guarantee. In Himachal, Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme 10368, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme 25145, Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme 1296, Old Age Pension, 464117, Widow/Destitute/Single Woman Pension 115366, Disability Relief Allowance 73255, Rehabilitation Leprosy Patients Allowance 1013, Transgender Pension 41 and Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Scheme 1106. A total of 785023 women are already getting financial benefits, the Chief Minister is cheating the public by calling the benefit of these women as 1500. 300 units of free electricity has remained a big dream, the 125 units of free electricity that the BJP government was giving has also been stopped.
