The number of BJP MLAs has increased from 25 to 27, and Lok Sabha members from 3 to 4 : Bindal

BJP core group meeting was organised at the party headquarters Deep Kamal Chakar Shimla, the meeting was chaired by BJP state president Dr Rajiv Bindal.

In this important meeting of the core group, state co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, former state president Satpal Satti, Suresh Kashyap, former assembly speaker Vipin Parmar, former minister Rajiv Sahjal, MLA Randhir Sharma, Trilok Jamwal, Rakesh Jamwal, general secretary Dr. Sikandar Kumar, Bihari Lal Sharma and Trilok Kapoor were present.

BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal said that through the core group, he congratulated and wished all the leaders and workers for winning all the four Lok Sabha parliamentary seats with a big and comfortable margin.

2-3 very important aspects were discussed in the meeting. In these Lok Sabha elections, BJP has registered a big lead in 61 assembly constituencies. In the Lok Sabha elections, out of 12 ministers of the current state government, 10 ministers and the Chief Minister have lost the elections in their respective assembly constituencies. This is a very important issue for which congratulations to all the leaders and workers.

He said that the NDA government has been formed at the centre for the third time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this is a matter of pride for the country and the people of Himachal. Along with this, the tenure of National President Jagat Prakash Neta as National President has been super successful and after that he has got the responsibility of two very important ministries in the central government, which he has also taken charge of yesterday, for this he is specially congratulated and best wishes.

Bindal said that in the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the upcoming three by-elections and upcoming organisational activities were also discussed.

In the meeting, there was a discussion about the victory in four Lok Sabha elections and two by-elections. Now the number of BJP MLAs has increased from 25 to 27, similarly the number of Rajya Sabha members has increased from 2 to 3 and the number of Lok Sabha members has increased from 3 to 4.

In the meeting, discussions were held on the series of victories, Lok Sabha elections, defeat in 4 by-elections and winning the upcoming 3 by-elections.

He said that the central leadership will take the decision on ticket allocation.
