The issue of giving land of Palampur University for developing tourism is not going well with the public: Bindal

BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the people of Himachal Pradesh are not able to accept the issue of giving the land of Agriculture University Palampur to some people for developing it for tourism. Despite heavy opposition, the government is not ready to accept that the Agriculture University plays an important role in preparing more scientists for the future of farmers. Therefore, when the matter has come up that we have many places which can be developed for tourism, then we should leave it. The big thing in this is that there is contradiction even within the ministry. The Agriculture Minister openly supported the fact that the land of Agriculture University should not be used for tourism.

Dr Bindal said that this government is caught between contradictions. A minister of the government says that we should adopt the Uttar Pradesh model for street vendors. The next day pressure comes on him and the next day the Chief Parliamentary Secretary gives a different statement on it. Similarly, the Education Minister once talks about following the Uttar Pradesh model and after a while he backtracks from it. That means we are not deceiving the people of the state. The people of the state are constantly getting affected due to the decisions of the state Congress government. The government is constantly playing the victim card and is increasing the burden on the people of the state. He said that this government has proved to be the most useless government in the history till date.
