Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu campaigned for Hardeep Baba in Nalagarh
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the name of Nalagarh will be written in the pages of history due to the black deeds of former independent MLA KL Thakur. This is the first incident in history that an independent MLA is resigning and contesting the MLA election again. KL is a sold-out businessman, he has stabbed the Congress government in the back despite getting all the work done for 14 months. The former MLA has greed in his intentions, that is why he got sold. The former independent MLAs who are contesting the election by buying the lotus are not with the honest workers of BJP. He is disappointed with the BJP giving tickets to sold-out MLAs. The Chief Minister said these things while addressing election rallies in support of Congress candidate Hardeep Baba in Kirpalpur, Ramshahr, Nand, Swarghat and Gurukund of Nalagarh assembly constituency. Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that during the Rajya Sabha elections, six Congress MLAs also betrayed the party and voted for the BJP candidate. They were sold in the political market of BJP. The budget was to be passed the day after the Rajya Sabha elections, but six Congress MLAs were absent from the assembly. They had sold their integrity to the BJP. The Congress MLAs were disqualified due to the implementation of the whip, after which by-elections were held in which the public taught a tough lesson to 4 out of 6 former MLAs and gave victory to the Congress.
He said that the BJP government cheated the people in the last 5 years. Jairam Thakur slept while he was the Chief Minister and papers kept getting sold in Hamirpur Subordinate Selection Board. After forming the government, we attacked corruption and started closing the backdoors of corruption. Six Congress and three independent former MLAs also faced problems due to the severe blow to corruption. An attempt was made to topple our government. Jairam Thakur and the sold MLAs tried their best, but we made Operation Lotus fail with the help of 34 MLAs.
The Chief Minister said that Nalagarh has got good fortune due to KL Bike’s resignation. Elect Hardeep Baba and send him to the Vidhan Sabha, the face of this Vidhan Sabha constituency will be changed. Every legitimate work told by Baba will be done. Vote on 10th July to save your power. BJP forced this by-election on the people, because you had elected an independent MLA for 5 years. Why did he resign in just 14 months, because after selling his integrity, he was under pressure from BJP to resign.
The Chief Minister said that I do not do politics of appeasement, but of serving the people. BJP workers are requested that this election is not between Congress and BJP, but between the sold MLA and Congress, so support the Congress candidate. KL Thakur is still trying to get NOC for his crusher, he has nothing to do with public interest. People with a lot of money lose their minds quickly, KL is an example of this.
Congress candidate Hardeep Baba said that when Nalagarh is talked about, the head bows down in shame, because the MLA here is sold to the BJP. We have to wash off this stain and elect a Congress MLA from here. For three and a half years, the Congress government is in power in the state, we have to vote for the development of Nalagarh. It has been happening for a long time that if the government is of Congress, the MLA is from the opposition or independent, this time there is a golden opportunity, if the public elects a Congress MLA, the fate and picture of Nalagarh will change. This time needs to be handled, BJP will play the game of money power, we have to overcome it and win. Victory of public power is necessary to save democracy. Former independent MLA KL Thakur has destroyed Nalagarh. I want to assure that I will go door to door and work for the people. So support me in this election. Nalagarh needs a sustainable MLA, not a sellable one. During public meetings, many BJP workers left the party and joined the Congress. The Chief Minister made BJP workers join the Congress party by tying a turban on them. The Chief Minister said that all the BJP officials and workers who joined the Congress will get full respect.
