Taproli team won the title of Kabaddi competition in Noha fair
A rural fair was organized on Independence Day in Noha, a remote panchayat village of Mashobra block. Kabaddi competition and cultural programs were the center of attraction for the people who came to the fair. Apart from Junga tehsil, ten teams from various areas of Sirmaur and Solan districts bordering the Kabaddi competition participated in the Kabaddi competition. In which Taproli Club defeated Noha team in the final and won the title of Kabaddi competition.
Earlier, APMC Dhali Kinnaur Chairman Devanand Verma hoisted the national flag. This fair was organized under the joint aegis of Yuva Club Noha and Mahila Mandal Noha Lakhoti. Shimla District Cooperative Society Director Atar Singh Thakur and Dhruv Mahant were present as special guests in the program.
Devanand Verma, while extending his Independence Day greetings in his address, said that 15th August is a very important day for the people of India. The great sons of the country had freed the country from the chains of slavery by sacrificing their lives to protect the motherland. He said that everyone should take inspiration of patriotism from the sacrifice of the great sons of the freedom struggle, which would be a true tribute to them.
On this occasion, school children and women of the Mahila Mandal entertained the people by presenting cultural programs filled with patriotism.
In addition to Balog Panchayat head Om Prakash Sharma, Women’s Wing head Reena Rana, Youth Club Noha’s Ayush Thakur, Anu Thakur, Harish Thakur and other officials were present in the program.
