Tajendra Pal Singh Bittu called upon party workers to work with zeal for upcoming Shimla municipal elections
State Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has asked party officials and workers to come forward with solidarity for the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections. She has said that Shimla Municipal Corporation election is very important for Congress and it should not be taken lightly.
Today, after holding meetings with the party officials and workers regarding the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections at State Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhavan, Pratibha Singh listened to the ward members and workers present in the Municipal Corporation meeting and their suggestions and ideas regarding the party candidates.
Pratibha Singh urged everyone that the party candidate should be selected unanimously and preference should be given to the worker who has the ability to win. She said that the victory of Congress is very necessary for the development of Shimla Municipal Corporation and for this everyone will have to work unitedly.
In the meeting, All India Congress Committee Secretary and in-charge of state affairs, Tajendra Pal Singh Bittu called upon all the party workers present in the meeting to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm as they worked for the party’s victory in the state assembly elections. We will have to work for the party’s victory in the municipal elections with full enthusiasm with consciousness. He said that the victory of the Congress in the state assembly elections has sent a big message to the whole country and this process of victory of the Congress should continue in the municipal elections as well.
Bittu said that today’s meeting has been called on the instructions of Rajiv Shukla, member of the All India Congress Working Committee, in-charge of state affairs. He said that the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections were discussed in detail with the Chief Minister of the state Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He said that the Congress organization in the state is moving forward with great strength. For this, he also congratulated State Congress President Pratibha Singh.
