Supriya Shrinate removes objectionable posts from her X account

Congress spokesperson Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate removed an objectionable post about BJP official candidate and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, from her X- account today.

Making another post on social media Ms Shrinate said that many people have access to her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Without my information “One of these people had posted a very disgusting and objectionable post today.” Congress spokesperson said.

“As soon as I came to know about this, I removed that post. Anyone who knows me knows very well that I don’t make personal remarks about any woman,”  she explained in a Hindi post.

It has come to my knowledge that this post was earlier running on a parody account (@Supriyaparody). Someone picked up this post from here and posted it on my account.

I am trying to identify the person who did this. Also, the parody account created by misusing my name has been reported in X, she added.

BJP has announced to put Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut in the fray from Mandi Parliamentary constituency on Sunday.

Social media posts made from the account of Congress spokesperson started trending showing bold partly pictures of Bollywood actresses along with objectionable comments. 

BJP lodges complaint against AICC spokesperson

A complaint was lodged against the National spokesperson of Congress Ms Supriya Shrinate for allegedly posting an objectionable post against a BJP candidate from the Mandi Parliamentary constituency Ms Kangana Ranaut today.

A complaint filed by party secretary Parmod Thakur with the Chief electoral officer alleged that vulgar remarks were passed against the Kangana and ECI should take cognizance on the matter immediately.

BJP says that repeated instances of serious violations of provisions Indian Penal Code, 1860, Representation of People Act. 1951, and Model Code of Conduct was being done by the leaders of Indian National Congres

On the Social Media and Digital Platform of the Congress Working Committee of the Indian National Congres, Ms. Supetya Shrinate and other official bearers of party shared the derogatory remarks against the Bollywood actress on March 25.
