Summerhill square should name of Bhagat Singh : CITU 

State unit of Central Industrial Trade Union funmmed over BJP lec Shimla Mincipal Corporation government for not allowing to name Summerhill square on the name of Shehdaiazam Bhagat Singh Chowk alleging that civic body delay the work to set up a statue of Bhagat Singh in the town. State Secretary of CITU Vajinder Mehra said in a press statement issued here today that previous Shimla MC led by CPI(M) passed a resolution in 2015 that Summerhill square should be named as Bhagat Singh Chowk and Bioleaganj squire as Swami Vivekananda chowk. Mr Mehra said that Shimla MC recently tried to overruled CPI(M) resulation by passing another resolution to set up Swami Vivekananda bust Summerhill square which showed that BJP trying to put one national legand against others which is means politics should not be done. When Mall Roads and Ridge are have several freedom fighter and statue of Poltical leaders like Indira Gandhi, Dr Y S Parmar and Atal Behari Vajpayee etc why shouldn’t be install a similar bust or statue of Bhagat Singh in the town commerade Mehra said lashing out BJP for delaying the decision to set up bust of Great Patriot who sacrifised  his life in very tender age for the sake of Indian Freedom from the British rule.
