Sukhu Appealed to public to make Satpal Raizada Congress MP from Hamirpur

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Rs 55 lakh seized in Badsar on Monday belonged to the sellable MLAs. Our government has imposed blockade in every area, crores of rupees given by BJP to the sellable MLAs will be confiscated in this manner. Will keep hold of the money of corruption. I have full faith that people power will win, money power will lose, because only the people can keep democracy alive.

The Chief Minister said these things while addressing election public meetings organized in support of Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Raizada in Bhoranj, Chamboh and Lamblu. The Chief Minister said that Anurag Thakur should tell which projects he brought as a four-time MP. Anurag should now stop cheating the public and start giving account of his work. While he was an MP, he could not get the construction work done of Hamirpur bus stand, the foundation stone of which was laid by his father and former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. He could have brought money from the Center also. After becoming the Chief Minister, I gave Rs 50 crore for Hamirpur bus stand. The construction work of the bus stand has started and instructions have been given to complete the work in one year. We gave the bus stand of Bhoranj. You have been electing BJP MP from Hamirpur for 26 years, this time send Congress candidate Satpal Raizada to victory, together we will change the face of Hamirpur parliamentary constituency.

Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that when he rose from an ordinary family to reach the post of Chief Minister, the feeling was that I will do everything possible by making policies for the poor and deprived people. Former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur spent money like water to regain power. In the last six months of his tenure, Jairam government opened 1000 institutions without budget, they had neither employees, nor buildings nor other facilities. After coming to power, our government closed the institutions without opening the budget and requirement. The government has opened some institutions and offices afresh along with budget, employees and facilities.

He said that based on his life experience, he brought Sukh Ashray Yojana and gave the status of Children of the State to 4000 children. BJP MPs were nowhere to be seen during the natural disaster. Despite not getting any help from the Centre, 22000 families were resettled by giving a relief package of Rs 4500 crore. No family came to me asking for money, understanding the pain of the affected families, I gave Rs 7 lakh to build a new house, whereas only Rs 1.5 lakh was available under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Congress government has brought a free treatment scheme for the elderly above 70 years of age, under which they can get treatment up to Rs 25 lakh.

The Chief Minister said that June 1 will decide the condition and direction of democracy. If the public teaches a lesson to the sellable MLAs and the party that bought them, then the foundation of democracy will be strengthened. Bikau Azad is resigning because his soul is buried under money. Will he not contest elections again after resigning?
