Sudhir is the leader of the rebels, he must have got more than Rs 15 crore: Sukhu

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Friday once again launched a scathing attack on the rebel MLAs and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur. Talking to journalists in Naidun, the Chief Minister said that former Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma is the leader of the rebels, he must have received more than Rs 15 crore. All the deeds of the six former MLAs who have joined the BJP will be exposed in the court of the people. Cases of those who have acquired assets disproportionate to their income will also be opened.

The Chief Minister said that the hunger for power of the Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur has increased a lot. Since he could not form the government based on votes, now he is trying to grab power based on money. The public has rejected the BJP, Jairam Thakur should keep this in mind. In other states, the BJP grabbed power based on money, and they wanted to do the same in Himachal. But, God is with us and he has allowed us to serve the people.

Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that the public will never make the sellable win. Works worth Rs 300 to 400 crore have been done in the assembly constituencies of the rebel MLAs. They appointed SDM, BDO, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer, and SDO of their choice, but still they got sold. It should not happen in politics that after becoming an MLA, one starts working on recovering the money spent in the elections and if there is no money, then conspire to topple the government. The character of sellable MLAs has been exposed in front of the public.

The Chief Minister said that Congress fought before and after independence. First, it was a fight to free the country, later it was to make the country stand on its own feet. When the country became independent, even a needle was not made. Many leaders and workers including two Prime Ministers and a former Chief Minister of Congress have sacrificed their lives for the country. The ideology of Congress is to take the country forward.
