The Congress party increased VAT on diesel twice as soon as it came to power. According to an assessment, the Congress government of Himachal has collected tax of Rs 1500 crore from the public through diesel within 10 months and has worked to increase the income by increasing the duty on electricity among the things on which inflation has increased. . Similarly, indirect taxes have been imposed by the present government which has given rise to inflation.

This government imposed tax on taxi operators and in protest against this, the taxi operators staged traffic jams and protests at many places, but the present government did not listen to them and today the situation is such that the taxi operators of the neighboring state They have refused to bring tourists to Himachal Pradesh, the main reason for this is the increase in taxes.

We have no objection to the tax, but the tourism of our state, which is already badly affected, is getting further badly affected due to non-bringing of tourists to the state by outside taxis. That is, the present Congress government is burdening the people of Himachal Pradesh under yet another burden without thinking.

He said that the impact of diesel becoming expensive does not only affect truck, bus and car drivers. Due to increase in load on goods trains, everything becomes expensive, due to increase in passenger vehicles, our transportation becomes expensive, it affects everything. The Congress government has given only one thing to the people of the state in the last 10 months and that is inflation.
