State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau booked five persons in HPSSC Hamirpur questions paper leak

State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau Hamirpur booked five persons today for involvement in the question paper leak case of recruitment of Junior Office Assistant (IT) examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur.

Registering another FIR today under sections 409, 420, 120B IPC & 12, 13 ( 1 ) a 13 ( 2 ) PC Act – 1988 ( as amended in 2018 ) five persons were booked under Police Station, SV & ACB, Hamirpur.

According to the spokesperson of SV&ACB,  the FIR pertains to the leakage of the question paper of (Post Code – JOA IT 903).  

This case has been registered against five persons whose prima facie role has been established during the inquiry into leakage of the question paper of above mentioned Post Code.  

So far more than twenty FIR has been registered against a staff member of HPSSC Hamirpur, including her son and a middleman, and those with whom the paper was leaked in lieu of money. 

The state government already disbanded the HPSSC Hamirpur as most of the questions papers conducted by the commission were found leaked during the previous BJP Government. 

An FIR also has registered on July 26 by the SV& ACB against four persons for allegedly leaking Welfare Officer cum Assistant Superintendent (Jails ) conducted by HPSSC.
