State government  notifies Cow Sanctuaries and Gausadans as infirmaries

The State Government has notified some of the Cow Sanctuaries and Gausadans of the State as infirmaries.

An officials  spokesperson of the state government informed here today that a notification in this regard has been issued under sub section (i) of section 35 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act 1960 (59 of 1960).

As per the notification Gausadan Lahri Barota in Bilaspur district, Cow Sanctuary Manjheer in Chamba, Cow Sanctuary at Kheri in Hamirpur district, Gausadan Khajjian, Cow Sanctuary at Luthan, Gausadan at Khabbal and Cow Sanctuary at Kanghain in Kangra district, Gausadan at Longini in Mandi, Gausadan at Sunni in Shimla, Cow Sanctuary at Kotla Barog in Sirmour, Cow Sanctuary at Handa Kundi in Solan and Cow Sanctuary at Thanakalan Khas in Una would function as infirmaries.
