St. Edward’s School Centenary Celebrations, Day Three October 13, 2025

St. Edward’s School celebrated the third day of its centenary, marking the Feast Day of its Patron, St. Edward. The theme ‘A Legacy That Endures’ reflected a century of faith, service and excellence.

The day began with the hoisting of the school flag and a ceremonial welcome by NCC cadets for the distinguished guests — Mr. Aniruddh, Bishop Sahaya, His Lordship Bishop Ignatius L. Mascarenhas, Rev. Fr. Ambrose and Rev. Fr. Angulus. The school band and the NCC march past set the tone for pride and celebration.

Highlights included the Time Capsule Ceremony, an alumni march past accompanied by the Police Band and the formal handover of the school flag to the School Cabinet, symbolising leadership and continuity. The Memorial Park was also inaugurated to honour the school’s rich heritage.

An exhibition by the Art Club and the Fête, organised by the Outreach Club, showcased creativity, innovation and community spirit. The cultural programme in the school auditorium celebrated the centenary journey through dance, music and messages of hope and service.

The day concluded as a proud tribute to St. Edward’s enduring legacy — inspiring generations to come.
