Hindi Pakhwada “Smaran” 2023 was celebrated at the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur Institute from 14 – 29 September 2023, under which competitions in the Hindi language like essay writing, calligraphy, dictation, poetry recitation, music, etc. were organized for the employees of the institute and their families. went Convener Dr. Atul Aggarwal said that the candidates who got first, second, and third prizes in various competitions were honored by the director of the institute, Mr. (Dr.) Prafulla Agnihotri during the closing ceremony of the remembrance. Dr. Urvashi Rathore, Ms. Anuja, Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur and Mr. Anil Dutt Sharma were the first winners in various competitions. In his speech, the Director, while congratulating the Official Language Hindi Day and ‘Remembrance’ program in the institute, said that the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur; The Department of Official Language is committed to promoting the use of Hindi language in its daily official work as per the annual program issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. In our institute, concrete efforts are being made to implement the provisions of the Official Language Act, the rules made thereunder and the orders/instructions issued from time to time by the Department of Official Language.
