Six-day Tabla Winter Camp concludes in Gurukul of Dharech

The Tabla Winter Camp, which was going on for the last six days in the lap of the Himalayas in the Gurukul of Dharech, about 30 miles from Shimla, ended on Thursday. In this six-day Tabla Winter Camp, about 30 Tabla players from India and abroad displayed their art brilliantly. Dr. Baburam and Ustad Trilok Singh attended the closing ceremony as chief guests and distributed certificates and mementos to the participants. Local Panchayat head and famous musician Het Ram Gandharva was present as a special guest. He welcomed the Tabla practitioners coming from different states and abroad.
Vikram Gandharva, organizer and resource person of the music camp, said that in the camp the seekers were given detailed information about the intricacies of Tabla. He said that in this six-day camp, the Gurukul resonated with the waves of music. People thoroughly enjoyed classical music, ghazals, bhajans, etc. Famous artists associated with music participated in this camp. This camp in the lap of the Himalayas left a unique impression. He said that on the last day of the camp, famous flute player of the state Haridutt Bhardwaj, famous sitar player Batuk Nath Mishra from Banaras, and retired tabla player Ustad Trilok Singh added to the program by presenting the program. He said that arrangements for the stay and food of all the artists were made by Gurukul.
These camps include Manoj Vasudevan from Dubai, Nachiket Pant Vaidya, CEO of Sony Entertainment Talent Venture Mumbai, Kunal from Gujarat, Videsh from Mumbai, Punit from Chandigarh, Shravan from Tamil Nadu, Santosh from Banaras, Nikhil from Lucknow, Krishna and Harikrishna from Kerala, Uttar Pradesh. Nikita Soni from Delhi, Ayush Kumar, Sumit Singh, Shyamakant Joshi from Shimla, Jatin, Divyanshu, Suryansh, Aastik, Abhishek Sarang, Srishti and Rupal from Shimla showed the magic of their art.
On this occasion, Panchayat Samiti President Yashoda Sankhyan, BDC member Laik Ram, 7 Soul Melody Production owner Pradeep Sharma and other dignitaries were present.
