SIT to probe Jr Office Assistant paper leak case

Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh Police Sanjay Kundu today constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe Junior Office Assistant (JOA) paper leak case occurred on Sunday. Spokesperson of state police said that SIT to be headed by DIG Central Range Madhu Sudan consisting of members Commandment 3rd IRB, Ms. Soumya Sambasiban, Commandant 4th IRB Diwakar Sharma and, DSP(CID) Sushant Sharma. The SIT has also been directed to investigate if there was involved  any bigger conspiracy in the matter. Does scam was confined to one Center or spread elsewhere in the State . Whether it is an organized crime or individual crime and if any public officials are involved in the matter. SIT directed to carry out the investigate without prejudice to the investigation in this case provided it would keep informing  about the progress of probe to Police Headquarter periodically. On April 24, 2022 A FIR was registered under police station Sundernagar under section 420 IPC and Sec. 7 of HP University, Board and others Examinations Act – 1984 at on the complainant Smt. Anita Dogra, Asst. Professor, MLSM College Sundernagar regarding paper leakage during screening test of JOA, he added.
