Simran and Tushar got the title of best student of the year

Government Senior Secondary School, Janeddhat celebrated its annual prize distribution ceremony with great pomp on Saturday. In this function, Class 12 student Simran and student Tushar were awarded as the best student of the year. While Lakshya of class 12 and Adil of class 9 were awarded the title of Best Volunteer of the Year and Subhash House was awarded the title of Best House for their excellent work in the school. Retired spokesperson Nihal Thakur and Satish Nirala attended the function as chief guests. While local Panchayat head Swaroop Thakur and Chail Panchayat Deputy Head Pankaj Thakur were present as special guests.
Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report of the school. In his address, he said that the annual function is a mirror of the year-long achievements of any teacher’s institute in which the meritorious students are encouraged and other students are inspired to move forward. On this occasion, the Chief Guest and the Principal awarded the children who achieved excellent positions in academic, sports, cultural and other activities during the academic session 2022-23.
On this occasion, Navayanshi of class 1, Jatin of class 2, Aizal Sharma of class 3, Mithun of class 4, Tanvi of class 5, Janvi of class 6, Shiva of class 7, Adil of class 8, Vanshika of class 9, Mehak of class 11, Aditi of class 11 and Varsha of class 12 were honored with academic awards. Similarly, Diksha and Mehak of class 10th in Sanskrit were awarded for the upliftment of the language. Similarly, Yuvraj was awarded in painting competition organized on Prohibition Day, Vanshika in speech competition, Suhani in poetry recitation, Yuvraj in slogan writing, Nitika in essay writing junior competition and Diksha in senior. Jai Dhiman, Samriti, Ankush for getting excellent position at district and state level in the art festival and Prajakta, Diksha, Palak in badminton, Diksha in chess and judo for excellent performance in zonal level sports competition, Harshita, Diksha and Simran, Nitika, Aditi, Saroj, Riya, Bhavna, Aastha, Diksha and Smriti were awarded in Tanvi and Khokho and Bhavna, Simran and Riya were awarded in Chess Under 19.
The ceremony was made attractive by presenting colorful programs on this occasion by school children.
A large number of parents including Roop Ram Verma, Kesar Singh Thakur, Ramakrishna former vice head, Kamal Rana, Sunil Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Deepika participated in the program.
