Silver jubilee cum Alumni meet organized by NIT Hamirpur

Inaugural Ceremony  of  Silver Jubilee Reunion (1995, 1996 and 1997 Batches)  cum  Alumni Meet-2022 of NIT Hamirpur was held on 3rd & 4th June. Prof. H.M. Suryawanshi, Director NIT Hamirpur was the Chief guest for the event. Registration was followed by lighting of lamp, address by Dean Alumni Affair Prof Y.D. Sharma. The felicitation ceremony was followed by address by the director , NIT Hamirpur Prof H.M. Suryawanshi. Finally a thank you note was given by Dr Ashok Kumar, Secretary NITHAA.

Some discussion points and decisions unanimously decided upon were as follows:

Enhance the online registration of Alumni on Alumni web portal and strengthen Alumni Institute interaction

Start and revive local Alumni Chapters

Formalizing Alumni NIT connect and resources generation

4th June 2022 a cricket match was organized. After general house and election presentation on mentorship programme was given by Dr Sunanada Sinha. The alumini meet ended in a high note with photographs and lunch at the hostel.
